Harvest festival is a wonderful time for us to give thanks for the food and crops grown in this country. We all know how lucky we are to have such delicious food to eat every day, therefore we use this time to collect donations for our local food bank, for those less fortunate than ourselves. Facing a day when we couldn’t feed ourselves, or our children, is a reality for some families and we are proud to offer our help and support at this time. The children performed beautifully in our performing arts theatre, singing and dancing so confidently in front of all their parents.

It was a delight to see the reception children who have only been with us for 4 weeks performing and singing ‘Cauliflowers Fluffy’.

Year 1 children danced and sung to Big Red Combine Harvester and Autumn Leaves. Year 2 children performed to Its Harvest Time and Autumn days.

We ended with one of our favourite assembly songs ‘He is the light’ where it was wonderful to see some of the parents joining in.

Well done everyone!
