We had the most incredible day where a dragon visited our school from a faraway land.

Children were transported back in time to when a dragon has been slain by a knight. However, a baby dragon is discovered and the villagers decide to care for it.  Years pass and the dragon grows so big they decide to take the dragon back to the mountains, where it is said he looks over the village to keep it safe.

The rest of the adventure is up to the children. They decided how the rest of the story would continue and had a wonderful day developing their imagination.

We also had an amazing grammar and vocabulary lesson where the children became movie stars.  They got to learn some incredible vocabulary to describe a movie and then use a green screen app to make it happen.  We will share these with you soon.

In class, children are continuing to work on books focused around dragons and we hope some wonderful creative writing develops from this. This wonderful workshop was fully funded by you, our friends of Wren! We thank you for all that you do and I please ask that you continue.
