Wren Academy's main sponsor is the London Diocesan Board for Schools (LDBS), the Church of England's body responsible for overseeing both primary and secondary schools in London Diocese. Their vision is one of service to people of all faiths and backgrounds. The LDBS has a long and successful history of involvement in the educational, social and spiritual development of young people.

The LDBS is the co-sponsor of Greig City Academy in Haringey and of Chelsea Academy in Kensington and Chelsea. The LDBS is the sole sponsor of St Mary Magdalene Academy in Islington. In addition to Academies, the LDBS supports nearly 150 Church of England schools in London, including 18 secondary schools.

Wren has as our co-sponsor Berkhamsted School. Berkhamsted is one of the country's leading independent schools, established during the sixteenth century. Wren and Berkhamsted have forged an innovative and successful partnership between the state and independent sectors.
