Year 4 Trip to Whipsnade Zoo

On Monday 3 October, Year 4 had a very exciting trip to Whipsnade Zoo.

The children are currently learning about the Rainforest, so they were able to see many of the animals that live there.

The children were able to visit the aquarium, which contained many different species including; snakes, rainbow fish and crabs. We also got to go into the butterfly house which was 28 degrees! There were many different butterflies with many colours and patterns.

The children loved seeing the penguins, with some coming right to the edge to say hello. Speaking of saying hello, we also got to hear what a Zebra sounds like, with it coming right to the gate to see and speak to the children.

We had a wonderful trip!
