Reception had a fabulous time on their trip to see 'The Smeds at the Smoos' at the Arts Depot. Many thanks to the parents who accompanied us on the trip.

The children enjoyed the performance, especially the songs and the funny aliens.  When we got back to school we were able to talk about the story, where in the story a young Smed is told 'Never, never play with a Smoo' and vice versa.  The children thought that it was unkind not to play with people just because they were different.

A few of the children said what they liked best about the show.

Hazel said, 'I like his dancing, He's so funny,'

Oli said, 'I loved the rocket,' 

Ximena said, 'I liked the bit when they were marrying because there was a baby and I like babies.'
