Year 1 had an amazing day in our Knights and Castles Workshop on Thursday 19 October.  We travelled back in time and met Queen Elizabeth I who taught us all about the types of castles that were built during the 10th Century. 

We also learnt about 'jousting' and got to play our own child friendly version! We then looked at some real knight's armour and even got to dress up as all the various jobs people had inside castles!

It was such an incredible day and a massive highlight of our Autumn 1 Term.
