Year 5 enjoyed starting the year with a Chocolate Workshop to help us begin to answer our humanities question, is there equality in the chocolate industry?

We became level 10 chocolatiers over the course of the day. It was fascinating to learn about the origins of chocolate with the Mayans and the Aztecs and to follow its development to the present day.

Highlights of the day were definitely making and sampling our own chocolate creations!
