The children had a wonderful time on our African drumming workshop day!

They started the day playing the djembe drum and learning about the different types of drum strokes. The children then learnt about symbols and the meaning behind them. They got to stamp using these symbols to create a beautiful work of art.

The children then got to enjoy a story told by the workshop facilitator, it was all about Anansi the spider!

The children finished the day off in style by dancing to some African music. It was an inspiring and exciting day had by all!
