On Thursday 21 March, Year 4 set off for an overnight adventure to Epping Forest. We stayed at The Hive in their brilliant camping pods.

On the first day we ventured into Epping Forest to explore habitats and learn about food chains. We also went pond dipping and used classification keys to identify what we found. Our busy day ended with an exciting campfire and of course, some marshmallows.

On Day 2 we learnt some map skills and enjoyed running around the grounds to find the clues. Finally, we met some new friends including a snake, salamander and some stick insects! It was a wonderful experience for everyone.
