The following paragraph is a compilation of Zac, Isabelle, Archie and Janelle (children in Year 5 Ash Class).

It all began with Year 5 at the school on a Monday morning. The coach pulled over and we (with our turtle-shell rucksacks) hobbled onto the coach. We were on our way to HYMB and YHA!

Later that day, we were in the dark abyss of the cave. We had to face our fears and climb through holes the size of an A4 piece of paper. I was claustrophobic, so it did not work well for me, but when I got used to it, I absolutely loved it.

After we had done bell-boating, we immediately did kayaking. It made us wetter than a fish. A few people tipped over their kayak and were really unhappy.

Before we knew it, our third activity was rock climbing. It was a little bit scary, but we all made it up and down.
