Junior Maths Challenge Posted: 23/05/24

The questions are in an interesting and different format to those students normally tackle in their GCSE and GCE qualifications

We are extremely proud of our talented Mathematicians in Year 6 who joined the Secondary students for the Junior Maths Challenge.  UKMT’s National Maths Challenges are aimed at the most able Mathematicians and over 700,000 students take part each year.

The questions are in an interesting and different format to those students normally tackle in their GCSE and GCE qualifications. The top 40% of students who enter receive a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate and some very successful candidates are invited to follow on rounds.  The aim of the UKMT challenges is to encourage a love of problem solving as well as to advance participants’ Mathematics education.

Please see the fantastic results below of the children who participated. Congratulations to you all, we are very proud of you!
