On Tuesday 8 October, Year 4 visited Whipsnade Zoo to support our learning this term about different animals and their habitats.

The day started with a workshop about teeth and diets during which the children enjoyed identifying different animals by looking at their teeth and other features.

We were incredibly lucky to see as many animals as we did during the day.  We loved seeing the giraffes, lions, elephants and the Patagonian Mara.

The indoor butterfly house also helped to bring our Rainforest topic to life.
