At the beginning of this term, Year 5 kicked off our chocolate topic with a bang!  We were thrilled to welcome a professional chocolatier who guided us through the fascinating world of chocolate.  The children learned about the intricate process of chocolate production, discovering the origins of it, from the cacao trees to the final product.

The workshop was not only informative but also highly engaging, allowing the students to immerse themselves in hands on activities. Each child had the exciting opportunity to craft their very own chocolate bar, experimenting with various ingredients and toppings to create a unique masterpiece.

The joy on their faces as they savoured their creations was simply priceless! This delightful experience sparked curiosity and enthusiasm within the class.
