Dear Parents, Carers and Children

 

I hope you have had a wonderful summer and are getting excited about coming to school next week. The building looks fantastic and I know you are all going to love it when you see it!

 

Please ensure your child is in full school uniform, with their PE kit in a bag. Looking at the current weather, please ensure your child has a coat and appropriate footwear. Bringing wellington boots into school is a fantastic way to ensure the children can still play outside even if it has been wet outside. If they wear wellington boots to school, please ensure they bring their school shoes in a bag to wear inside the school.  I would also suggest your child has an umbrella on rainy days for their walk from the drop off zone into school.

 

Parents are welcome to come into class with children on the first day of school until 9.30am to support their child with settling into class and to look at our new classrooms. Please remember that on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September children will finish school after lunch at 1.00pm. Your child will be provided with a school lunch unless your child brings in a lunch box.  Please ensure any lunch box follows healthy guidelines and should not include any fizzy drinks or large chocolate bars.

 

All the primary staff will meet you in the entrance off Woodhouse Road from 8.35am and we will leave the drop off zone to walk into school together at 8.45am.
