A successful coffee morning!

24 September 2015

Thank you to all of you who attended the coffee morning on Monday. It was lovely to see such a supportive group of parents. I have added the presentation to the Key Documents so please use this if you want to retrieve any of the information provided.

We had some photos taken of the children at school so please do look at the new pictures in our image gallery. They are absolutely gorgeous!

Thank you to those of you who have started to use tapestry. It is wonderful seeing your comments. You are also able to upload your own photos to add to your child’s profile which is great way to show the teacher what you have been doing at home.

Our half termly newsletter will be sent out on Monday so look out for it in your emails. It includes all the information about your child’s learning.

PE lessons are going to begin properly next week. Acorn class will have PE on a Tuesday afternoon and Conker class will have PE on a Wednesday afternoon. On these days the children will come home in their PE kit with their uniform in a bag. Please ensure you bring it back for the following week’s lesson.

The parents who attended our ‘Friends of Wren’ meeting this week showed great enthusiasm and excellent ideas for the year ahead. To ensure we are able to do this we will need support from all of you. I will be preparing an information letter with ideas and we will be looking for volunteers to lead on a variety of projects. The first major project will be our Christmas fayre. We will also be holding an AGM soon looking for members to join our committee. The more support we have, the more exciting events we will be able to hold for the children.
