After School Activities

After school activities

We are really proud of the range of activities we provide for children even though we only have three year groups currently in the primary phase.

One of our popular clubs, is the textiles club who have produced some fantastic work. IMG_0334In the first few weeks they made t-shirts with pop-art designs on the front. They have also recently created bags using a range of skills including weaving and art work learning about Matisse.  We are excited to see what they make next!

I also went to visit Musical Theatre Club last week and what they have achieved is just fantastic. We have some incredibly talented children who performed a scene and a song from one of my favourite musicals, Matilda. Next half term then are learning Oliver and I cannot wait to invite the parents in to watch their stunning performances.

Gardening club has grown incredibly popular with the children transforming the front of our school. We are growing more tomatoes and carrots as well as creating a beautiful herb garden. They are also planting a range of bulbs so in Spring time we should see lots of daffodils and tulips springing up at the front of the school.

We are so pleased all the children are having the opportunity to develop their talents!
